Spicers Peak Lodge sits in the middle of an expansive, bright green meadow, encircled by massive trees and mountain peaks as far as the eye can see. An ideal spot for a romantic getaway or an adventure with a group of friends, the Lodge offers an opportunity to unwind and disconnect. A variety of hiking, biking, and helicopter tours allow guests to explore the majesty of the Main Range National Park, including the abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy contemporary Australian meals at The Peak restaurant, and retire to your modern, luxury suite for an evening’s rest.
There are five types of accommodations to choose from at Spicers Peak Lodge, either connected to the main lodge or separate for a more private experience. Each suite or lodge is bright and modern, with all the comforts and amenities needed to make your stay as relaxing as possible. For larger parties and families with children, the standalone 1-or-2-bedroom lodges offer more space.
In the main lodge, there are two Loft Suites located above the communal areas. These comfortable rooms are ideal for an overnight stay, or for one guest. The wide span windows look out over mountains and rural farmlands. Each Loft Suite features a king bed and a sitting area, as well as a minibar, Nespresso machine, and marble bathroom with Appelles bath products. Other amenities include complimentary wifi and a bathrobe and slippers. Sleeps up to 2 guests with 1 King.
The 1 Bedroom Private Lodge offers a truly secluded experience, with 272 square feet of rustic luxury disconnected from the main lodge. The comfortable king bedroom includes an LCD TV and a work station, with ensuite marble bathroom. An ample living room features a sectional couch and stone fireplace, as well as a minibar and island for dining, and a second marble bathroom. Both the king bedroom and the living room open onto a large terrace, with an outdoor chaise lounge and a private infinity spa. Other amenities include complimentary wifi, bathrobe and slippers, a Bose sound system, a Nespresso machine, and Bemboka blankets. Sleeps 2 guests with 1 King. Children are catered to in the private lodges only.
The spacious Lodge Suites (110 ft2) are equipped with king beds, a plush window bench reading nook, and a work station. Feel right at home in the Main Lodge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or enjoy your meal at a picturesque spot around the property. The Peak welcomes guests for a gourmet meal at any time of day, with an inviting atmosphere and an open dining room with stunning views of the horizon. Enjoy contemporary Australian fare under the direction of Chef Doug Innes-Will, with ingredients pulled right from the onsite garden. After dinner, enjoy a specialty cocktail with friends on The Terrace.
Chef Doug believes in minimalist cuisine that respects high quality ingredients and produce, a philosophy he brings to every dish at The Peak. Drawing from the Market Garden and inspired by fresh, seasonal produce, menu options might include heirloom tomato gazpacho, organic lamb shoulder, or Hervey Bay scallops. Choose your own adventure with an a la carte menu, or try the chef’s degustation menu, a 5 course spread that changes daily. While many premium beverages are included in your rate, the Cellarmaster’s wine list is perfect for a special occasion.
There are a number of options for dining in and around Spicers Peak, including various other restaurants in the area at other Spicers properties. For a more casual lunch in a beautiful location, reserve a complimentary picnic hamper to take with you on a stroll.
